What happened? Nothing, and indeed that's the problem. People don't care about this, they will buy it anyway so the software house only thinks to sell the games instead of taking time for polishing them.

There’s a bare minimum for graphics needing some style and charm before you can be accused of having low standards. SwSh crosses that threshold.

Graphics don't matter, but visual consistancy does as it can easily break immersion. That's why the tree is so bad, it has a much lower res texture than anything else in the game.

nah. The tree isn't THAT bad. The tree is something most people probably won't look at too often. Wailord being too small is more of an issue because people will of course be paying more attention to battles than the environment's textures

Idk I thought the tree was noticable, especially compaired to the berry tree. To be fair though I didn't buy the game. I agree with wailord being too small, if let's go pee and poo can do scaling properly, why can't SSh?

it's not even that an older game on the same console does it (although that's a valid complaint), it's just that the concept of scaled models would be cool
