>>42100973To me the biggest flaw was that the story was incredibly rushed where things went from 0 to 100 real fast for no reason. Had they slowed down the pace, it would've been a lot better instead of breaking already established characters (i.e. Rose being an impatient and illogical fuck).
The second major flaw is the lack of postgame content; yes, the wild area is cool and all and I guess the postgame story was enough to wrap up the entire story as is, but the Battle Tower is literally just the Battle Maison but with Toby Fox as its selling point.
Now, I reckon with the hidden content in the game that we might get some more events (especially now given the way the anime has gone), but I'm not expecting it.
Hell, the dex cut would've been 100% fine if they didn't rush it.
Nonetheless, the game was still incredibly enjoyable and going in blind really was something to enjoy a lot.
