What I hope for is something that has all the old content and functionality but goes above and beyond. I hope for another HGSS.

However what I expect is something with much less content just built in the SwSh graphical style. I expect something with all the disappointments seen since 2013 and more, because GF has shown they're still trying to feel out a true rock bottom.

It depends how they handle the sequal to SwSh.

I'm hoping Bond Abilities come in, that give a small extra boost to the starter ability and give it a new form, like burning crown, glowing trident and tree, maybe change one of its elemental moves to give it something extra.

it's gonna be a DP remake and they're just gonna blatantly ignore giratina and it's dimension probably, and skip the battle frontier all in all with nothing special added except perhaps a wild area style underground system.
