In runthrough of pokemon Y and currently in team flare's base with 7 gym badges. The levels of my pokemon are low 40s (about 5 levels lower than most of the main trainers), no mega-evolutions or XP shared used. Team revolves around speed control with all those speed drop moves and massive damage on Electro Ball. Raichu has proved to be the star of the team so far and Blastoise has been absolutely useless honestly except as a pokemon to use Surf with.

doing a randomly-rolled monotype challenge, Dark-only in Emerald. Still early on, just past Slateport. Salt is a female Mightyena with a quirky nature. Pepper is my replacement starter, a male Houndour with a quiet nature. Oakley is a female Nuzleaf with a brave nature, I'm still not sure if I'm going to wait all the way through getting Extrasensory as her last move to evolve her into a Shiftry, or if the Cacnea/Cacturne I plan to get next is going to replace her as my grass mon. And Shiner is a male Sableye with an impish nature.

Teams after finishing shield, and postgame.
Opinions haven't changed much. The journey there was okay, and I found discovered some new bros, which was nice.
Probably still going to try to evolve Froth and Sunset, still. but the bargain asshole won't sell a fucking reaper cloth, then I'm not sure. I don't really feel like shiny hunting or doing raids after that point, feels kind of pointless at this point.

Two electric types, but didn't have the heart (or a replacement ready) to drop Boltund, since he'd been useful earlier on and, eventually, would score the final KO in the champion battle. Dracovish was a post-game edition that I got because the type was what I'd been looking for (a dual-type water-type new mon); I picked it before actually learning how broken it was, and then annihilated the Battle Tower with its SJ Fishious Rend, backed up by Boltund and RIllaboom.

Just reached the Strange House in White 2. This team has been a lot of fun. I thought about using Skarmory as my dedicated steel type but I decided to scrap him for Ferrothorn just so I could have something that resists water.
