Even assuming this is true, they very clearly could have put all of them in this time. They had 809+ models of existing pokemon ready to use, all they had to do was make models and animations for the new ones.
Also the game was barebones as fuck so it doesn't show where they put in the extra dev time. Most of the towns are barebones as fuck with nothing to do in them. You have towns like ballonlea or circhester that look nice but that is literally all you can say about them since you are only there for 5 minutes and then onto the next town.

People already gave up on it, just look at the fanart, artists have just stuck with what was shown in trailers, there is almost no art of NPCs this time, much less from NPCs that did not appear in any trailer.

no one thinks that.
All the shitmons will eventually get their time in the spotlight, but then there are pokemon who will never leave the spotlight. It's unfair that because of dexit Charizard, Pikachu and other Kanto shillmons, will literally always be in, while i have to hope that my bros Volbeat, Turtwig or Nidoking get a chance at all. If there's gonna be dexit, it should at least be equal, and it wont be.
