this one. eiscue is one of my favorite pokemon easily and i think its because i avoided leaks and saw it myself in game for the first time.
i imagine if i looked at flip phone camera quality still images while already mad about the game and hating everything, i wouldnt like much of the new mons either. but luckily i had the privilege to know how to form my own opinion.
i was really shocked to come back online after playing the game and find out people hate it. its seriously the cutest thing and super cool in battle. also i thought the simplicity of its design, being an ice type penguin (aka just an animal that lives in the cold) and that doesnt look too over designed at all, would appeal more to the people who tend to hate every new pokemon
its okay though. people will love it by gen 10!

I get that anything can be liked by anyone, but seriously, what's supposed to be cute about it ?
It's not simply cute like Jigglypuff or Celebi since it shares none of the basic features that make something cute (Small, big eyes, oversized head, happy face, etc...)
It's not weird/cute or ugly/cute like Goomy or Oshawott since its design, even color wise, is too bland for this.
Its animations has nothing special either.

I like the idea of it having a tiny head because the constant freezing colf of the ice block alters circulation and doesn't let it grow properly.
I also like the sad animation it does once the ice block breaks.

That said, the ice block itself is way too big and stupid looking so it's just "alright" to me.
