- No more items. Since you're not battling you don't need items or a bag. The bag has been replaced with a PokePic Binder for holding your PokePics!
- Gamefreak listened to the complaints about Sword and Shields' graphic and performance. Circle and Square are text based! For the first time ever you can read your Pokemon adventure collecting PokePics start to finish!
- There isn't a new region or new Pokemon! Circle and Square take place in every past region! Each region features like twelve of their native species!
- Collect all 96 Pokepics in order to unlock the Shiny Camera for $4.99 USD/mo. The Shiny Camera allows you to collect Shiny PokePics!
