pokemon does not have enough content to justify an entire board dedicated to it so you just get a couple threads about the anime and games each, some side threads about merch, fandom shit, roleplay i guess, whatever, and then the majority of threads are just dumb shitposting as catalog filler. the average thread quality of /vp/ is dogshit but its no worse than its feeder boards, /v/ (a strong contender for worst board on the site if you don't count /b/) for the games component and /a/ for the show component

Hell, we're the laughing stock of every other board now. Anyone who isn't a Pokemon fan thinks the fanbase is a joke because we're (not me and you in particular, you know what I mean) cucked enough to buy anything with Pokemon stamped on it. SwSh has effectively yanked us into the light, and not in a good way.
