You all KNOW in the DPP remakes next year that the Sinnoh Underground will use mechanics from the Wild area, and have the same den raid mechanics.

It will be slightly less janky than the Wild Area with more things to do, further justifying that the Wild Area was just a beta for future multiplayer offerings.

All the mechanics fit so well for the Underground that I'm surprised I haven't seen this obvious thing brought up yet.

I did too I use to get a ton of shards and fossils but never had friends to do the multiplayer with so I have never experienced that side of it. I always remember putting the GTS globe in my base
