>>42148651Darm is the only Pokemon that even has Gorilla Tactics.
It’s not like Protean Kecleon since Greninja wasn’t the only Pokemon with Protean.
Also, again,
why aren’t the Eon Duo banned since Soul Dew is only good on them in past Gens?
Why isn’t the entire Gothitelle line in Ubers if something like Caterpie wouldn’t be broken with Shadow Tag?
Why is Deep Sea Tooth is allowed when it gives a better boost than Soul Dew?
>and in Gens 6-7, they could have easily banned King's Shield on Aegislash instead of Aegislash.Smeargle can use King’s Shield and isn’t broken with it.
>Why not just ban Sheer Force on Landorus-I?Because that’s a complex ban.
Banning solely Gorilla Tactics isn’t a complex ban.
>Why not just ban Thousand Arrows instead of Zygarde?Again, because Smeargle can use it and isn’t broken with it.
You seem to think that banning just Gorilla Tactics is automatically a complex ban, when it’s not. It’s not different than banning Shadow Tag or the many items that were banned in previous gens.
Do you think Regular Kang should have been banned?
No, since only its mega stone made it broken, and they can easily just ban the Mega Stone.
No Mega Kang stone+Kang clause at all.
>Smogon tiers, and the various other metagames that Smogon has like Little Cup, Monotype, 1v1, etc. It would never end. It would just keep going until every "problematic" Pokemon just get nerfed until they are shells of their former selves.Again, why didn’t Smogon ban the Lati@s back in Gen 5 and 6?
Why isn’t Gothitelle banned as a whole?
By your logic, these are complex bans because they nerf the Pokemon instead of banning them outright.
>Soul Dew in itself is banned in in the official games, whether its multiplayer or the battle facilities so it's not like you could use it anyway. You could actually use Soul Dew in unrestricted and local battles, which is what Smogon uses on cartridge.
