Actually if we were in the pokemon world we would meet together at a Pokemon center, have some chat about our OWN adventures and finally having the choice to refuse to battle to cheer up each other at the gym battle

And god fuck, my friends would sure compliment me because he litteraly threw a Pokemon weak to my starter and call me a genius afterwards and would never abandon his dream to be champion and beat my ass
