>>42158550>But as this thread has gone over, GT isn't broken the same way Huge Power isn't brokenAnd yet, in Gen 5 and Gen 6;
>Latios and Latias were always legal>Soul Dew was banned instead>Despite Deep Sea Tooth being a better itemAnd no fag in this thread has debunked this.
>painfully obvious to anyone who isn't anti-smogon to a fault that Darmanitan is the problem, not the Abilityexcept, again, Darmanitan-G isn’t broken when it doesn’t have Gorilla Tactics.
This isn’t a complex ban either like banning Defiant on only Bisharp or Speed Boost on just Blaziken.
This is straight up ban on all Pokemon with Gorilla Tactics from using it.
Also it isn’t just the “verlisify” crowd that thinks Darm without Gorilla Tactics is fine. Most people understand that.
It just seems arbitrary that they don’t ban Glalie or Gothitelle (along with all the other Moody and Stag users) since you could argue that a future shitmon could have these abilities and not be affective with them.
>Only actual autists would hyper fixate onSays the person who keeps claiming that “we can’t tell that a free choice band would be broken on other Pokemon and Huge Power is better”, despite this not be a theorymon discussion or AAA discussion.
This is a practical OU discussion, and with that in mind, go see the soul dew part again, and then maybe you’ll become unvaccinated.
>fixate on the fact that it's an Ability only one Pokemon gets.Why exactly is that a problem?
100% of Gorilla Tactics users are broken with Gorilla Tactics.
0% of Huge Power users are broken.
If you banned Gorilla Tactics on Darmanitan, it would mean 100% of pokemon that have GT can’t use it.
If you banned Shadow Tag on Gothitelle only, then that would be 20% of Pokemon with Shadow Tag that can’t use it.
