Level with me, anons - what's the difference between these two and Explorers of Sky? Are we talking Diamond/Pearl and Platinum, or Red/Green and Blue?

Darkness and time have so few differences it’s laughable. But sky is basically the platinum of the three, yes.

sky has a ton of content that makes the game objectively better, you have a wider choice of pokemon as protagonists, you can recruit more of the legendaries I'm pretty sure, the entire shaymin mission exists at all, etc. sky is more like platinum than blue but frankly I think it's expanded even beyond that
