Fans enjoy it for long years, since they only produce a game every few years. Filled with microtransactions which garners even more media attention and scorn, but fans dont care. Large open world, and nothing to do. Also railroady, since the activities you can do in said open world is limited.
Overall 10/10 Pokemon game.
