It would make him actually be good at pivot tactics. But alas, GF had to make Emergency Exit a negative ability like Defeatist. At least Archeops has amazing speed and attack to make sure his ability never takes effect. In the current state, Emergency Exit is completely antisynergetic to his low speed and high bulk.
Ok so you use your First Impression to hit the enemy first and he survives. The enemy strikes back and Golisiopod only loses 40% of his health thanks to his good defense. Now what? Now you’re screwed!
