>>42178054Honestly playing the SMT series really opened my eyes to a lot of shit. We still haven't gotten quality like the Raidou Kuzunoha series or Nocturne yet. Arguably Colosseum was what came closest and it still doesn't have the breadth of them. Even Persona, the "Let's Go" of SMT, is pretty cool.
I love Pokemon bevause it lets me grow attatched to my monsters and I can play the whole game with them, so it has its niche, but the fact that we still haven't gotten a game as stylish and big as some SMT games on the PS2 is deplorable.
I still stand by that HGSS is a masterpiece though.
