toxapex is only heavily used in singles and even then it's not that great in the official 3v3 format because it's too passive.

This looks like VGC. VGC always has people using at least one unlikely Pokemon in high play teams.
Magmar, Exeggutor, Pacharisu, Umbreon, Bronzong, Smeargle....
Butterfree in VGC is honestly no surprise.

when you get to masterball rank you can see the number, there is no rank number for lower tiers I think. Season 1 is over so you can claim your rewards and they will tell you your final placement
