Welcome to the hell that is DiaPer remakes speculation. Due to Game Freak releasing a new game for each year since 2016, and the common practice of having a remake every 2 generations since HGSS, as well as the 8-10-12-14 year pattern that exists with remakes (2006+14=2020), this is all people will talk about for the remainder of the year.
The originals got a lot of flak for their flaws and rushed development. Now, we are going full circle 14 years later with Game Freak's modern development and PR practice. Expect a lot of bullshit like hand-holdy gameplay and Max Raids in the Sinnoh Region's brand new Wild Area. Expect Barry to give you Potions and Revives every time you talk to him. Expect Cynthia to be completely nerfed. Expect the Gen 8 gimmick(s) to appear in full form. Expect more culled Pokemon that won't appear.
Each year, it gets progressively worse. Diamond and Pearl are about to get destroyed forever this year.
