This is generally bullshit meant to take advantage of you recognizing some features of some mons in the pictures provided. Basically taking features of 3 or 4 mons not really representative at all and making you think "well this looks like a pokemon with features of some gen X mons so it obviously repretents the gen as a whole".
I know autists love labeling shit but there's no way to label ~100 creatures under one criteria, unless it's something incredibly vague, but that won't tell you much

Gen 2 isn't accurate to most gen 2 designs
Gen 3 only really applies to the grass, bug types
Gen 4 is almost a complete miss
Gen 5 is literally just sawk with roggenrola's colour scheme
Gen 6 looks like a gen 8 starter

Disagree. It and Gen 1 are the most accurate.

If you look at a full Gen 1-5 sprite sheet, it’s easy to tell where Gen 4 begins. Many, MANY Gen 4 Pokemon are shades of dark blue and purple.

Gen 4 is super accurate. Gliscor, tangrowth, garchomp, electivire, magmortar, dusknoir, rhyperior, purugly, drapion, skuntank, drifblim, lucario, torterra, empoleon, lickilicky, dialga, palkia, and giratina fit the bill perfectly. And that's just off the top of my head.

This picture is retarded. Gen 1 had multiple animals with cartoonier eyes than Vulpix and Crabrawler is only super-round to keep the visual cues of a coconut crab (who are very round and bulbous) intact. The only thing the guy got right is the bigger heads on cute monsters.

By that logic Metagross has a mustache too.

The others are justified. That makes up 9 Pokemon out of 81 introduced with beards and/or mustaches, which is not even 15% of the Galardex. Your point?

And Farfetch'd and Wobbuffet are characters. I still like both of them, because Pokémon actually need a bit of personality to them because it's what gives the series its soul, for lack of a better term.
