Theoretically I think it’s better than Megas and Z Moves since every Pokémon can make use of it and the obligatory shillmons still get their new forms out of it thanks to Gigantamax, but in practice it’s kinda gay. Also it’s hard to care too much about it now that we know it’s not a permanent new feature and will be cut in a few games time like Megas and Z Moves were.

initially during the main game i thought it was really cool, but after doing den raids post game and online battles it's actually pretty shallow, especially gmax mons. I can definitely see how it's a problem for the meta.

Neat concept, shit execution. Getting it right off the bat shatters already pathetically easy games and deprives any kind of catharsis growing until achieving it like Megas despite their own problems, like not fucking requiring Happiness.

Fun the first few times, pointless after that. I gave up Dynamaxing in the end, because I didn't feel like I even needed to. The fights were easy enough without it.

There isn't even anything really special about Gigantimax at the end of the day. Sure, their special move will have a different effect, but really, some of them seem to be worse than the actual Max Move.
