So has anyone caught one of these dynamax raid Shiny Magikarps yet? It says that the chances to catch one are way higher for the New Year. Excuse my phonepost.

I have. Got real excited about it being my first shiny in a Pokemon game not gained via trading, then I learned it was an event shiny. Dissapointing for me, but hey, red gyarados is cool

I still have my Red Gyarados from the story in Crystal, the gold Magikarp will be an awesome addition to my collection. So the higher odds are worth hopping into some raids?

First one I caught has perfect 5IVs with HA. Has a neutral nature though so I'm gonna get a Jolly mint for it.

I’ve only run into 3 shinies but caught them all. Some people have gotten lucky and caught double digits or probably even whole boxes full of these. I know a lot of streamers or whatever we’re hosting these too. I’m happy with mine. Might try to go for a HA one
