I'm in the same boat, except with Grubbin. Honestly, I want someone to just hack me one at this point, it's kind of ridiculous how long this takes. I'm not entirely sure why there isn't a real pity rate for shinies.

I had my hopes up b/c I was under odds by alot (even with a shiny charm) for Dreepy, Growlithe, Tyrogue, Koffing, and Riolu. It's fucking dumb that the Shiny Charm won't effect fossils

I'm aware, but it's like, damn, man. I had never shiny hunted before, and I was like a'ight let me try this for once and I'm already at like 1200+ Grubbins hatched using the Masuda method and killed over 500 and I'm just stuck here with nothing lol.

Is there a combo counter for beating pokemon over and over? I heard if you beat 25, the rate increases, I dunno if true. And what keeps it up/what breaks it? I've defeated over 500 Grubbins right now, so can I just start encountering Grubbins and running away until I find a shiny?
