>>42206277>>42212952Giovanni never gave Jessie/James their Pokemon, Ekans and Koffing were presents from family, unless you're talking about the Tyranatar and Gyarados thing, I haven't watched the new season yet.
Ash may have had potential, but his lack of training was the one thing that stopped him, he never dedicated himself to training and that's why his Greninja, even as Ash-Greninja had a poor showing against Mega Charazard X.
The Alola League was full of new trainers and some trainers who were just inexperienced compared to Ash.
>>42211919Seething via projecting from Unova? You are.
>>42213113>>42213203What Alola E4? It was an Exhibition Match, he already won, so Masked Royal challenged Ash to the match, Ash was not born in Alola so by the rules Lucian of the Sinnoh of the E4 stated he couldn't battle any E4 apart from the Kanto E4 in any region he won. Give it up, even the writers trolled everyone setting this up via Sinnoh. Ash is the Alola Tournament Champion and Top Trainer (not a hard task for any visiting trainer) but Alola Champion he is not.
>Ash can't battle the E4 of Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola or Galar he wasn't born in those regions. >Ash needs to train more, get his full collection together and take on the Indigo league once more using all his mons, he might win the tournament, maybe pass one or two Kanto E4, but he may struggle getting passed one or two, if he did then Lance would walk over him, Ash doesn't have the Pokemon to take on Dragons, his only Ice Type may fall before the first round has ended, maybe Charazard would take one or two down, but would fall. >>42213141Yes it's cheating, it's nearly the same as Charazard in the Indigo League match, imagine if the ref decided to restart the match again and again because Charazard was asleep, Ash may have advanced to the next stage, it should have been classed as unwilling to battle, Nanu was written to give a bad call.
