Japanese method takes long and has a not very high success rate, while very interesting its probably not very good to use.
and for cfw solution you either need to be hacked or know someone that is. High barrier of entry, but can be the fastest if you automate the steps

I also have some noob questions to ask. I was 10 hours of standard 4 day resetting into looking for gmax Kingler when all the Dudu bot shit went down. There I ran into my first problem as i didn’t know WHEN to trade a den mon to dudu and i was too afraid to ask. I hadn’t yet hosted so i obviously had problems getting the code (as deserved) so i also lacked the resources to trial and error it by myself. At that point i pretty much transitioned entirely to leeching as the shiny raids realllly started taking off. Now at this point there’s the turboskipping trick and all that nonsense, and I’ve never bothered learning about it - as it’s hardly discussed here for fear of spoonfeeding. But at the end of the day i really am sick of leeching, and i would love to be able to host my own common dens that no one else wants to host (like the gloom line den). So since it’s quieter here today, maybe someone wouldn’t mind attempting to walk my retarded ass through it? I too would like to namefag and feel useful

Its fairly basic though.
You get a seed, see how many resets it takes to get to a shiny, then reset that many times minus 3 or more if you want to be safe. Then save.
Getting the seed is the only difficult part.
