You had more than enough time to realize that the Gen 8 games were turning out to be shit and not worth a purchase.
Save yourself some dignity and play games that are the actual draw to owning a Switch, such as Mario Odyssey, Luigi's Mansion 3, LoZ: BotW, Kirby, Bayonetta, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and soon to be Animal Crossing.
