Shitty generic coverage move for special attackers, relied on some bizarre convoluted method to get the type you wanted, no Fairy type

I'm not a huge Ferrothorn fan, but removing Hidden Power was the way to go. If only they got rid of Scald and Stealth Rock as well

It was objectively one of the worst designed moves in the series. Gave free coverage of any type to every special attacker in the game and required an absolute fuckton of grind to obtain, especially pre-gen 6 when it didn't have fixed BP.
