Has any more information about the odds of finding Marks been uncovered yet? I'm four boxes deep into the same pokemon and I've still not even seen one.

They's found on wild pokemon only. Breeding them and ones from raids won't have marks. So basically, you have to catch them many time until you get one you want.

They added a thing where pokemon caught in the wild have a random chance of having a "mark" that acts like a ribbon and can be equipped to give it a title (i.e; when it's sent out it'll read "x the y"); for example if you have an Excadrill that was caught during a sandstorm it'd have a chance to get a unique mark so whenever you used it in battle it'd be called "Excadrill the Sandswept".

However there's literally nothing I can find on the internet for figuring out the odds of what these marks are and I'm at this point eight boxes filled with nothing but the same pokemon I'm trying to get. You can only get these with pokemon caught in the wild you you can't just breed them either. I've literally found two shinies and one that was naturally a flawless 5iv, and not a single fucking mark and I'm starting to wonder what moron decided to put this in the game then make the chance of finding one so fucking low.

i just checked and i have Early Riser gothita and Malamar the Sociable (i caught inkay and evolved malamar for pokedex entry)

I guess i will ev-train/befriend/finish the league again with that Malamar just to buff him with ribbons then.

But honestly i just love catching shit ton of mons for no reason.
just do that with Quick Balls and you will get some marks i guess

That's actually just the normal ribbon mechanic that has already existed in previous generations.
They went and made the ribbons actually do something, and then added these marks as a kind of ribbon a wild pokemon comes with.
