I'm close to reaching my shiny frame, and I counted as I was advancing and I *should've* been 10 days before my landmark, but I just rechecked and it ended up being a whole 20 days before instead. Has anyone run into this before? after a save the first three mons are always the same even if you reset, but the 4th is random so that's why you stop 4 days out from shiny so you can roll for the one you want

Your frames are determined by the initial toss of the wishing piece. You skip the right before the correct amount of frames, then save so that the shiny frame is the 4th day. Then save at that point. Load, skip to the 4th day, see if the pokemon you want is in that spot. If it is, it'll be shiny. If you don't want that pokemon, but some other from the den list, load again, skip to the 4th day, rinse and repeat
