The worst thing is, we do have lots of deer over here. But for some reason deerling and stantler are absent from the dex. I'm pretty sure the UK is well known for it's deer too so i don't get how Masuda fucked that one up.

He has nothing to do with game balance or anything gameplay related. He almost certainly had nothing to do with who got into the Galar Dex (unless they got a Galarian Form in which case he did give the ok to those since they were brand new designs).
