>>42218778Consumers don't give a shit about the post game though. Like I said, you wouldn't lock tonberries, cactuar, bombs, flans etc in some kind of post game dungeon in FF. I also don't think you remember but the dream world was awful. Not something that was just rough around the edges, it was genuinely awful and probably the worst gimmicks in the franchise. The servers were only ever up 10% of the time so if you wanted to do that fancy shit you would have to wait until the servers were running again.
As for me personally, I don't see a reason to play the postgame if the maingame didn't excite me enough to warrant continue playing.
