The region felt more alive and had more personality to it than almost every region before it.

This is fair, USUM was a mistake.

They did, but, much like the rest of /vp/, you have the attention span of a rodent and wouldn't last in a real JRPG.

For: eh, the game is a decent time sink for a weekend or something. Raids are kinda fun and the gym/league battles feel grand. Definitely not HORRIBLE, but if you can't get it for less than 30 or below (maaaaybe 40), then don't waste your money.

Against: there's literally nothing to do after you beat the 2 hour postgame quest. I mean there's the regular stuff like pokedex completion/competitive play, but there are no hidden locations with rare pokemon like in the past games.
