>>42217370There are a lot of interesting ones in here, but there are also a lot of ones which fall flat. It was nice, however, that whoever made this possibly intended for the player to be able to catch a bunch of elemental-type pokemon rather quickly out of the gate just so that nobody had to potentially confront the idea of picking starters based on the most immediate gym typings.
Some of the lines feel incomplete (as if they need or forgot about a third stage), some feel as though they need a second stage in order to bridge the gap between the complete metamorphosis between their actual first and second stages, and some seem unnecessary going by just pure type concentration throughout the list (i.e. I feel like Water/Flying has too much of a presence here just going by the visuals). All in all, I'd argue that a good 60-70% of these are pretty A E S T H E T I C additions to the Pokemon franchise that might even hold niches in the game, whereas the remaining chunk sort of feel as if that's just where the creativity ran out. There are also a number of creatures here that could just get a few touch-ups to allow the sprite's dimensions to pop a little better (the giant centipede is one in particular). I feel like it deserves one of those tier-list templates.
>>42217425A number of these are pretty slick too. Same thing: feels like the originals within that set deserve a tier ranking.
>>42218575This dude's pretty cool.
>>42218080This is true.
