>>42218296>if someone is in a good place mentally but wants to be a boy or girl why not let them?yeah i agree. that's why i said some people need the treatment. but i see an aggressive push online from some lgbt communities to use transitioning as a catch-all solution to all problems, and it's literally ruining the lives of already vulnerable people.
some people do benefit from transitioning so i don't want to get rid of it. but it's an invasive, permanent medical procedure. we need to consider it a last resort, after proper medical examinations, therapy and medicine.
