He's CEO of Game Freak and does Executive production on all games that launch dude. There's more than enough work for him to busy himself with connected to the studio which isn't making games (which he admitted he wasn't brilliant at himself already)

Because he's not relevant anymore for Gamefreak or PTC to make money on Pokemon. Hec, ultimately they scraped his vision of Pokemon being quirky jrpg about kiddo collecting bugs, too. I feel sad for this guy, he made something actualy good and got downgraded to be a mascot no different from Pikachu.

Tajiri worked 6 years on the first pokemon games. Without Tajiri, all the ones you listed would probably dropped the project.
