But GO is slowly down the rate at which new mons are released, presumably to avoid catching up with the main series. Also the very simplified metagame and stat system means that so many mons are NOT viable - what with the fact that most status moves and abilities are effectively gone. Also the free-to-play model of the game means that certain core features of the main series games are mostly paywalled in GO. Eggs being one of the most prominent example.
