The design suggests it would be fast but isn't. If it looked more tanky and less aerodynamic it wouldn't an issue, it fucks with people expectations.

These are not contradictory and are both valid complaints. Electric designs are too samey, but making them different just makes them shit because Pokemon's stat system is retarded. Without a retardedly good ability, moveset, or typing, your only hope is hyper-max atk/spe or def/spd. Having a unique stat spread is a handicap.

Because retards like it because it looks like Vic Viper, then the same retards forget about Vic Viper's mechanics that make so that it starts out slow and shit then you upgrade it and it's fast and powerful. Then the same retards forget that the last move it learns is Agility for a reason. Then the same retards forget gen 5 made a similar "fast" Pokemon which is even slower but no it's Vikavolt(that can actually go faster) that is an unfunny meme run into the fucking ground.

Agility blows, particularly on something with lower than 50 base Speed. Besides the moment you get your boost up the opponent will have just switched into a check or counter and you're forced to hard switch/Volt Switch out (that's right it doesn't get U-Turn). Wasted effort.
