I thought the point of a remake is to recreate a game, fixing problems or shortcomings where possible? Seeing as Mt Moon was only like that because of technological limits when GSC came out.

But gen 4 is one of the best gens, it's just that expecting endless remakes, which are always a lazy cashgrab, wouldn't be tolerated in any other franchise, but pokemon fans are too domesticated to know better.
