They should combine Z-moves and Dynamax into one mechanic.
You have to hold a crystal to use 3 Max Moves. No double HP, no giantification, no immunity to phazing and flinching and whatever else comes with Dynamax.

That's their special thing.
The ceiling on the power of max moves is significantly lower than it is on Z Moves and in exchange they give buffs and debuffs to both pokemon in a double battle.
