Are they ever going to give us another generation that have over 100 new Pokémon? I hate all of these alternate forms they are putting in the newer gens. Were all of those Alcremie forms really necessary?

I do but I don’t understand why there are so little newer ones each Gen now. I get that 3D modeling takes up more time and now they are cutting Pokémon so I’m surprised we only got 81 new ones.

dude, don't be surprised if we get down to like 50 new pokemon each new gen, Gamefreak have learned that they can get away with less work cause dumbfucks keep buying the shit they hand out and praise them for it, we'll never get 100 new pokemon again, just rehashes of the same pokemon with a new coat of paint.

I remember that GF stated that they're pretty scared of hit 1000 pokemon someday.
Now national dex is confirmed to be cut and they don't have to import 1000+ models in every games, I wonder if there's a possibility to get 100+ dex.
Gen 8's new mons brought national pokedex to 890, just need 110 more to reach 1000.

It most likely will be a mon of no importance.
That, or they’ll go wild with new Pokemon in Gen 9 and end it on a legendary/start Gen 10 with a non-starter like Victini in Gen 5.
So yeah, definitely the former.

Honestly I wouldn’t mind a generation that gave us over 100 regional variants and only 50 new pokemon and even then all of the new Pokemon evolve from old pokemon or the regional variants introduced. Imagine how cool a Fire/Dragon variant of the Torchic line based off the Cockatrice would be.
