It isn't even that bad, base 90 speed is fast for a wall. Bug/Psychic is decent coverage and Body Press is great on it. Lots of sets it can run too.

Shockingly, a Pokemon can have a high BST, but still suck because its stats are distributed in a godawful way. See: Original Zen Mode Darmanitan, Aurorus, Guzzlord, Goodra, Mega Banette.

Its not shit stat-wise, it shit practicality-wise.
How the fuck can you use it when it's health needs to be around 50% to work?

As a standalone mon, it would make a nice special wallbreaker or Trick Room sweeper

No, it is shit stat-wise, because they tanked its Speed and jacked up its defenses while also turning it into a special attacker for no reason. Galarian Darmanitan's Zen Mode is basically what the original's should have been - higher Attack and Speed, improving upon what it already did, rather than turning it into something it wasn't.
