Why is it that even though the new fossils have been a huge discussion point since they leaked, it seems no one likes Arctovish specifically? What went wrong?

Design wise: Turn the head around and it actually would be fine

Competitive wise: It isn't going to make any big names like Dracovish or Dracozolt to a lesser extent

The other two are more forgettable, but arctozolt is actually cuter than dracozolt, making him liked more by normies

Arctovish's head is upside-down purely because if it were right-side-up it would actually look like a normal fucking pokemon and be mostly indistinguishable from something stupid and unintentional like the other fossils.

Poor Arctovish. Dracovish is my favorite Pokemon (Tied with Houndoom but still) and I feel bad not paying more attention to his (very) close cousin. It's not that I don't like Arctovish, but it's true that he lacks some of the charm of the other fossils because he is less animated. I still love him tho.

It's the least interesting design of the fossils. It feels like it was just made out of obligation because they had to have a combination for every fossil. They had to flip the head upside down to prevent it from looking like a normal Pokemon and there are still people who don't even notice it. It's body type makes it harder to be expressive in fan art. Also, it's not as good in competitive as the others.

Literally the only reason they didn't do this is because they wanted it to look as fucked up as the other ones. We could've gotten a badass dunkleosteus fossilmom, but they had to have their stupid gimmick. What a fucking waste.

Ironically, it doesn't look like enough of an abomination.
The head and body's colors match too well and you can't tell that its head is upside down from most angles.
If GF had taken it a step further, people might've liked it more.

Least favourite fossil by a long shot.
