Toucannon gets shit for being my mom's toucan but the angriness gave it some character (enough for memes) and it too is godly in game.
Unfezant doesn't have anything to boost it up. It's a by the numbers regional bird, but it's also a fairly recent and completely shit one, so no nostalgia and now competitive prowess to boost up its popularity.
