Here's what I know about the next mainline games.

>Wild Area was too much strain on GF, so they're scrapping it. Instead the Pal Park has been reworked into the Friend Farm. Two players can explore the park, catch wild pokemon and trade with each other
>Dynamax is re-introduced late into the game, ~6 badges in. New Dimensional Dialga/Palkia appears as a giant and rampages through Sinnoh. Cynthia holds them off while the player completes gyms. Some new story content with other Dynamaxed/Gigantamaxed Pokemon
>Due to their poor reception, content involving the Lake Trio is minimized or cut entirely
