But Sure, if that thing is a plesiosaur, that's a fair argument.
But it's design is so generic it doesn't have to be a plesiosaur. Looks just as much like a cartoon shark to me.
But yes, i don't think any of the water-dwelling "dinos" were technically dinosaurs, so your point still stands
