>>42249538I don't disagree. Light and Sound were added as a proof of the flexibility of the system, as neither can exist in the official system, because a creature can never be made out of sound or light, so half the definition of what a type is breaks down.
Earth and Metal. You guessed correctly, it is basically Rock and Metal. Their difference is that one crumbles but is rather insulating, whereas the other is sensitive to the elements and has supernatural connections.
I changed Rock --> Earth to include the few mud and sand attacks.
Dewgong would be Arctic/Aqua, but there are no STABs, just access to more and better ICE moves.
>Flux FieldAgain, don't square down on the titles i gave them. Those abilities are for the few magnetic mons that exist to gain the relevant attributes without needing to reimport the ELECTR type again. Which I could do but I would had to give it no weaknesses/resistances.
Same with Lava abilities. Most fire types are just mammals or lizards, only a 3 are made of lava, which is hot rock. If I'm to reintroduce Fire types as perhaps creatures living close to volcanoes, then perhaps ICE andWATER would be their weaknesses?
The point was to remove balancing types, as they made no sense for body types, rather specialities. Ground, Poison, Fighting and Dark are the most ill-defined types. Fire and electric just seemed to me like they wouldn't have significant weaknesses or resistances as they aren't a passive flame or spark, just creatures that generate it. Wouldn't it matter more if they are flesh n bone, or hard shelled or even incorporeal?
