I finished the whole story in 25 hours, fucked around for another 25 and vow to never touch it again. Comp sucks ass and there aren't enough Pokemon to mix things up, there are no following Pokemon and camp is limited so I don't get to bond with my Pokemon and raids are fun for the first half an hour.

I honestly had more fun in Let's Go

Nope. Got in about 200 hours of gameplay (story mode + a few shiny hunts + battle tower) and now that the honeymoon phase has worn off, I'm considering selling both my game and my Switch.

if you can get it used or borrow it from a friend it’s worth it. Not $60 I feel like if the game kept $39.99 as the base price people wouldn’t complain as much. It’s fun and has some good aspects though

I gave it away for Christmas. Now it's my brother's shit game kek. I only got as far as the fire gym, and what a trash fire of a game it was. Not worth 60 bucks. Never buying on release day again. If you can find it for free, play a few hours and see for yourself. Fuck Pokemon.
