>>42253326I doubt that. They won't give it the Platinum treatment or they change it so the island becomes part of the main story and you go there before you can get the final badge, but I don't see them actually cutting it.
I'm mostly curious about the wild Pokemon you can see there. In the originals you could catch Pokemon that aren't in the regional dex, but now that there's only the regional dex, they might not bother putting Pokemon in that aren't in the regional dex.
