One of my favorite things about the Indigo League was how consistent they were in showing Ash being a shit trainer. He only got as far as he did because the Pokémon he did catch were strong enough to need little to no training, and faces the consequences for his shitty training by losing with Charizard.

Kingler is a prime example of a mon that didn't need a lot of training to be strong. Motherfucker always went ham in the very few times he battled, and he made me love the Pokémon itself

The start was good. Rose's motives went to spaghetti at the 3rd act. The Eternatus fight and the Championship Cup made up for it. Not unsatisfying/10

It would have been alright if they didn't try and force a legendary plot into it. Just the gym challenge is a fine enough story, it's just a story about you becoming the champion which is great. You don't need some chosen one hero bullshit like Black and White or family drama like Sun and Moon.

The Johto mons barely did anything in the Silver conference. They were completely overshadowed by the Kantomons returning, which is probably why the anime decided to start having Ash drop off his Pokémon at the end of every region

Fair response sorry took a while for me to respond im making brownies lol but any way to me SWSH is just the story of gen 1 with a little bit of the other gens slrinkled in your just a kid enteringa a gym challenge to be the very best simple as that but theres also somewhat inteeresting characters and the box legendaries story is so well done it doesn't take up time or make you forget the main goal of the game beat the champion and the very best simple
