A year or two down the line, they'll add some bullshit update that "unfortunately makes Home incompatible with the 3DS titles :(((" and force people out of there.
I mean, it's literally what they're doing with Bank. Once it's gone, Gen 3-5 Pokémon will forever be impossible to transfer up anymore.
