>>42269768they're not, gen 2 is peak pokémon, it takes everything of gen 1 and actually enhance it + it has a greate soundtrack composed by go ichinose while gen1 had musics that even if today are considered classics because it was the first game, were in reality pretty "meh", i mean it definitively does the job, but you can't say to me that those are better than ichinose's on gen2, same for the story and lore.
gen2 is gen1 but better,
(like daggerfall is arena but better)
